Your go-to buying guide for picking out the perfect holiday gift for the runner in your life! Male or female, old or young, new to running or a veteran pavement pounder…this list has something for everyone! All the coolest tech, gadgets, gear, and fuel needed for a healthy & happy running career.
Big thanks to Saucony and FitFluential for sponsoring this fun post!ย
I am all about running lately, friends. Not that I haven’t been in the past, but something about my marathon has reignited my love of the sport in a big way. Can you believe I’m actually EXCITED about winter running?! This coming from the girl who HATES the cold.
Luckily for all of us runners however, the holidays are coming! This means that we can start adding lots of fun cold weather running gear to our wish-lists. Heck, even if I don’t get a single thing on my own list (my favorite part of the holidays is the gift GIVING anyways!), it’s just fun to dream and compile a list of new gadgets and gear to get us thru the season.
It gives me an excuse to research all the latest running product releases and it gives you the chance to oogle all the pretty running equipment and apparel! I know I like window shopping, or in this case ‘screen shopping’….so I’m sure you’ll love post all about the most wanted running presents for 2016. Even if you’re not a runner yourself, you probably have someone who is in your life. This will give you the perfect jumpstart needed to get going on your holiday shopping. Who knows maybe reading this will even inspire you to lace up your own shoes and hit the pavement!
After asking some of my best running buddies what was on their own MUST HAVE list for the holiday season, I think I came up with a pretty extensive roundup of what every runner, old or young, veteran or first timer, weekend warrior or daily miler, would want for the holidays! Check it out and share your thoughts…
RunJanji Headband
RunJanji is awesome for so many reasons. Not only do they make high quality apparel to keep you warm during the winter running season, but the proceeds from every item purchased goes towards providing clean drinking water around the world! I especially love this headband because it keeps my ears perfectly covered.ย
Racer Wall Frame
Do you religiously save your race bibs? Well this hanging frame gives you the PERFECT way to display them proudly!ย
Lululemon Giftcards (or better yet TJMaxx giftcards!)
Who doesn’t love getting new running clothing?! Whether you’re a Lulu fan or more of a Maxxinista (seriously TJ Maxx and Marshals have some awesome gear for a fraction of the price!) gift cards are always welcome!ย
Massage Gift Certificate
Because massages are the best. Enough said. Especially after a tough training run or winter race.ย
Destination Race Registration Fees
Warm weather running escape? Sign me up!ย
Road ID Bracelet
Stay safe, stay seen, stay secure. It’s so crucial for runners to have this simple form of identity on them…especially when running solo!ย
The STICK
Featured this in my pre-marathon essentials post and it still stands as one of my favorite items! Hurts so good gets a whole new definition with this muscle roller.ย
HippZipp Running Belt
My go-to running belt for everyday runs. There’s a zip pocket in the back and front that’s just the right size to fit my phone and ID in. It fits snugly yet isn’t constricting at all.
Tiux Compression Socks
Love these compression socks! They aren’t IMPOSSIBLE to get on and off like some brands because they have more stretch to them.ย
VEGA Marathon Training Kit
The supplement stack I used for my own marathon training and swear by! I love the electrolyte hydrator and the pre-workout energizer the best. All natural ingredients, sweetened with stevia, and yummy tasting too!
Saucony RUNBox
Now THIS is the ULTIMATE gift you could give a runner this holiday season! Saucony’s new RUNBox is a hand-picked collection of running gear that looks great and functions even better. No need to worry about going to pick out your own gear anymore! Saucony has you covered.ย
Each box includes…ย
Two tops – Layer up or down for most any weather
Bottoms – Versatile and wearable on the run or off, with signature Saucony detail
Triumph ISO3 shoes – Award winning top-of-the-line trailer, makes every run feel like pure luxury
Surprise Gift – Our friends make awesome stuff too, so we include a useful accessory that weโve discovered, in every box.
The box I got had the following….
- Triumph iSO3 Marle Edition (MSRP ย $150)
- RunStrong Sportop (MSRP $80)
- Dash Seamless Short Sleeve (MSRP $54)
- Scoot Capri (womenโs, MSRP $55)
- Good Running Sunglasses (MSRP $25)
This is what was in the specific box that I got….it was over a $350 value! And guess how much the RUNBox costs? Only $200! Such a steal for amazing, high-performing running gear. I got my box shortly after my marathon and it was such a lovely surprise! I was so excited upon opening it so I can guarantee you or the runner in your life will love getting this for the holidays.ย
And with that, I think you’re set in terms of buying gifts and treating yourself for the holidays! I can’t think of any more a runner would need to tackle the elements or refresh their training than these fun products and presents! Iย know quite a few of these are on my wish list for sure…do any make yours?
I’ll leave you with a little inspiration fromย Saucony…

I’ve heard great things about the rolling stick! I personally ALWAYS love the massage gift certificate. Great suggestions.
Thanks Lindsay!!
New reader…which marathon are you training for? As a FL girl the temperatures just got tolerable so “winter” is so much more ideal for marathon training. Love the TJMax gift card. You can always find a deal on something running!
I am running the Run Rock n’ Roll Phoenix Marathon in January!
I need all of these things!!! What a fun box too. Thanks for linking up to Best of Blogs. Pinned!
