Time for a fun fact Friday!! Its Q and A time!! And I threw in some of my favorite pins from the week for a little picture action amongst all the words!
[this is me after EVERY grocery trip!]
How do you react on the spot, when someone makes a comment about you being thin and living a healthy lifestyle? Do you smile and say thank you when your blazing mad inside, or do you call them out on it?
Even though what I really want to do is lecture them about focusing on other people’s bodies, I try and say as little as possible or try to change the focus. Anything to get off the subject of my body…its just so awkward! Other times I will go into a little more detail and try to nicely explain that living healthy is my passion.
How would you respond in a friend at school gave you a big homemade muffin?
Uhhhh….I would LOVE them! I don’t know anyone in my school that is really into cooking or baking….let alone anyone that would make something special just for me. So it would be such a nice (and welcome) surprise if someone did that for me!
Are you a in a “healthy” bmi range? (got this question THREE times…so I guess someone really wants to know!)
Yes I am. Simple question, simple answer
What colleges are you looking at, and what are you looking to study?
I am not gonna get into specifics since I am in the application process right now….but I am looking to get out of Buffalo. The schools I am looking at are largely in Boston and San Diego! I am most liking going to study Biology/Pre-med and hopefully become a physicians assistant or a physician one day!
How often do you go out to eat?
My family and I do a lot of cooking at home. We love cooking in general so going out to eat isn’t a big part of our lives. But we always go out for special occasions (birthdays, awards, anniversaries, etc.) Other than that I would say, maaaaybe once or twice a month.
What’s your typical breakfast?
I rarely eat the same breakfast two days in a row…I love variety and satisfying whatever cravings I am having on a particular day. But for ease during the school year I have few go to breakfasts that I rotate throughout the week. Some combos include: an oat based breakfast, toast with fruit cereal, overnight oats with softserve, eggs with toast and fruit, toast and a smoothie.
[I wish my hair would hold a curl!!]
How often do you eat dessert?
As I’ve said before I don’t really have a big sweet tooth and didn’t eat much dessert growing up. Even now I get full from my dinners and end up having a snack a few hours later as opposed to “dessert” right after. But when I do have dessert its usually something homemade by someone in my family…something that is really special and to good to pass up. But I gotta say, I don’t even know the last time I actually “craved” dessert. I think I crave savory stuff way more often!
How tall are you?
Shrimpy. Only 5 foot 3. I wish I was taller though! That’s what heels are for I guess.
[they totally got me with this one!]
Happy Weekend everyone! ENJOY!!!!!!!
PS: THANK YOU for all your comments on my last post! I know it can be a touchy/controversial subject so I wanted to applaud you all for staying so respectful and sharing such great insight!!
