Healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Pretzel Bark
- Prep Time: 20 minutes
- Total Time: 20 minutes
- Yield: 6 servings
- Category: Dessert
- Diet: Vegan
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar-free dark chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 cup Kindling Sea Salt Protein Pretzels, roughly broken (leave some whole!)
- 1/4 cup roasted salted peanuts (28g)
- 1 tsp flaky salt (optional)
- 1/4 cup natural peanut butter (code healthyhelper saves!)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch dish with parchment paper.
- Add the dark chocolate and coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate into the lined dish and spread evenly with a spatula. If your peanut butter is thick, gently warm it for 10–15 seconds so it’s easy to drizzle. Spoon small dollops of peanut butter all over the melted chocolate, then use a knife or toothpick to gently swirl it throughout the chocolate to create a marbled effect.
- Roughly break the Kindling Sea Salt Protein Pretzels into bite-sized pieces and scatter them evenly over the chocolate along with the roasted peanuts. Gently press everything into the chocolate so it sets securely.
- Sprinkle with flaky salt if desired.
- Freeze for at least 30 minutes, or until completely firm. Remove from the pan and break or cut into bark pieces.
- Store in an airtight container or freezer bag in the freezer for best texture.
Tips, Variations, and Protein Boost Ideas
Want to level this up even more? Try mixing in dried fruit, coconut flakes, a drizzle of almond butter, or a sprinkle of hemp seeds for added healthy fats. You can also swap the peanuts for almonds, crushed cashews, or even toasted coconut for a slightly different flavor profile.
For an extra protein bump, use a high-quality dark chocolate with lower sugar content and pair it with a protein-rich snack plate for a balanced dessert moment.
Whether you’re looking for a healthy chocolate peanut butter bark recipe, a high-protein freezer dessert, or an easy no-bake treat with protein pretzels, this Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Pretzel Bark checks every box. Keep a batch in your freezer and thank yourself later.
