Savory Southwestern Granola

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten-free quick oats
  • 1 cup puffed rice cereal
  • 2 tbsp buckwheat groats
  • 2 tsp salt-free Taco Seasoning
  • ¼ cup nutritional yeast
  • ¼ cup mixed seeds (I used sunflower and pumpkin)
  • 2 tbsp Simple Girl BBQ sauce
  • 1 egg white

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl. In a separate small bowl combine egg white and BBQ sauce. Pour egg mixture over dry ingredients and mix until everything is well coated. Spread granola mixture on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, stir, and then bake for 3 more minutes. Remove from oven and let cool to crisp up before serving.
