Hey friends! I am happy to report this week is going A LOT better than last. I was able to tackle one my last (HUGE) end of year term papers and now I only have to make revisions until it’s totally out-of-the-way. So that’s a big weight off my shoulders for sure.
I am also getting more excited about my upcoming birthday on Friday as well as Thanksgiving next week. We are hosting a ton of family members so it should be a fun time!
With the ‘big feast’ coming up, I’ve been hit with recipe making fever! I currently have TEN recipes in my notes on my phone that I want to test out. It seems whenever I am the most busy with work and school, I get the strongest urges to cook and bake. No time=all the procrasti-baking! 🙂 Oh well! One more month and I’ll have time to do all the recipe development I want. Definitely a plus for all of you!
The premise was to take you most hated fitspo photo and ‘revise’ it to make it positive and encouraging (see the original post for examples!). Well, I want to revamp the project and do another round of it! This means I am looking for submissions from all of you! This is your chance to be creative, challenge the false images that the media and society perpetuate, and define ‘fitspo’ in a new way. Again, head to the original post for examples and more details. Feel free to submit as many images as you want and TELL YOUR FRIENDS to join in too! I want to make this round even bigger and better than the last one. I was so inspired by all the submissions I got two years ago, and the round-up post of all of them was one of my most popular ever. I can’t wait to share what you come up with this year!

As you know, I am a Women’s Health Action Hero this year and we are still on a mission to provide meals to as many needy people across the nation as we can through FEED. This involves the Run10Feed10 race series. A lot of the organized runs are done for the season, but you can still help out by running your own virtual race! This means you register and run a 10k on your own time, at your own pace, and in whatever environment you choose (even on the treadmill!)! It’s a race that you can make your own and know that you’re doing something amazing for the community.
