Hey hey hey friends!
Sounds like everyone had a lovely labor day weekend! I actually really enjoyed going home and spending time with my mom and aunt! My dad was away for a baseball tournament (which he won! woo!) so I didn’t get to see him to much but it was still a nice visit.

Like I mentioned, my mom and I spent the day outside on Sunday and went kayaking down at the waterfront all afternoon. It was amazing! I haven’t been kayaking in years and I forgot how fun it is. And a great upper body workout too! I was fully expecting not being able to lift my arms on Monday, but surprisingly I wasn’t sore! Guess my chicken arms are stronger then they look! 🙂
So as for the eats this week for WIAW it’s gonna be a mix of more gourmet stuff I was able to make at home over the weekend and some dorm room quick meals…
Kind of sad this is the first WIAW of September…in my mind, Summer is over. It’s not quiiiiite Fall yet, but we’re all just kind of hovering in seasonal limbo. Just as long as the nice weather sticks around a little longer I won’t complain though!
On to the eats…
[we FINALLY got a frozen yogurt place! plus they make homemade gelato fresh everyday!]
As you can see, sandwiches and salads are quickly becoming the “go to” meals.
Fun little nugget of information: In the middle of writing this post I was interrupted by an impromptu dance party in my friends room!
