What Makes These Reese’s Marshmallow Protein Bars?

The base of these bars comes from my original viral 3-Ingredient Marshmallow Protein Bars. Milk, gelatin, and protein powder are whipped together to create an incredibly light and fluffy marshmallow texture.

For this Reese’s-inspired version, I use Equip Foods Peanut Butter Prime Protein to give the bars their peanut butter flavor.

Then comes the chocolate! Good Dee’s sugar-free chocolate sprinkles are sprinkled over the top before the bars go into the refrigerator. The combination of peanut butter and chocolate makes these taste like a fluffy, protein-packed version of a classic Reese’s treat.

Want Extra Peanut Butter Flavor?

If you want these bars to have an even stronger peanut butter flavor, add 1–2 tablespoons of pure peanut powder to the mixture along with the protein powder.

This is completely optional, but it’s an easy way to make the peanut butter flavor more pronounced.

If you love peanut butter, I definitely recommend trying the extra peanut powder version!

Tips For Making Peanut Butter Marshmallow Protein Bars

Whip the mixture well. The whipping process is what creates the signature fluffy marshmallow texture, so give the mixture plenty of time to increase in volume.

Don’t boil the gelatin mixture. Heat the milk and gelatin gently until the gelatin is fully dissolved.

Use a high-speed blender. A powerful blender or food processor helps create the light, airy texture these bars are known for.

Add the chocolate sprinkles before refrigerating. Sprinkle them over the freshly poured mixture so they stick to the surface as the bars set.

Try the extra peanut powder. For a stronger peanut butter flavor, add 1–2 tablespoons of pure peanut powder along with the protein powder.

Let them fully set. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours. Overnight is even better if you want the bars to be completely firm.

How To Store Reese’s Protein Bars

Store these peanut butter marshmallow protein bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

For the best texture, keep them refrigerated and enjoy within about one week.

If you’re stacking the bars, place parchment paper between the layers to prevent them from sticking.
