Chocolate and peanut butter layers meet to make the ultimate brownie experience! These Layered Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownie Bites will be your new favorite, healthy dessert. Gluten-free, grain-free, sugar-free, and high protein.
If you follow me on Instagram, you know I’ve been doing a TON of baking lately. Between work and grad school, baking has become SUCH a stress reliever for me. What people say about “baking therapy” is so true. It’s almost meditative! But even better because it end with a delicious treat.
My favorite things to make recently have been high protein, sweet snacks loaded with tasting ingredients and protein to keep you full and satisfied between meals…or even as a healthy dessert!
Nothing inspires me more in the kitchen than getting a new ingredient to experiment with. Naked Nutrition recently crossed my radar and after checking them out, I knew I had to try a few of their products to get the full experience!
Why I Love Naked
The reason I love Naked Nutrition products is because unlike a lot of other brands on the market today, Naked is ALL about transparency, NO gimmicks, and NO BS ingredients. AKA you know exactly what you’re getting in each one of their products. The ingredients are recognizable and loaded with nutrients. Their products contain no artificial sweeteners and are specifically formulated to help you reach your nutrition and fitness goals in the most natural way possible.
My favorite product is obviously their PURE Peanut Butter Powder. Naked PB has only one ingredient: powdered peanut butter made from slow-roasted, non-GMO, US grown peanuts. It’s low in calories and fat, perfect for those looking to add more protein on a plant-based diet, and works amazingly well in baking recipes! As you’ll see. 😉
In addition to baking with it, I also love:
- stirring it into oatmeal
- blending it into smoothies
- sprinkling it on top of yogurt
- mixing it with a little bit of water to make INSTANT low-cal peanut butter or a peanut buttery sauce
The Peanut Butter Powder tastes amazing on its own, but even better when baked into a healthy, high protein treat like I am sharing today.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownie HEAVEN

Brownies just got an UPGRADE, friends. If you know me, you know I’m peanut butter OBSESSED. The only thing I love more than peanut butter is peanut butter and chocolate together….particularly in baked goods.

Layered Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownie Bites
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 20 minutes
- Total Time: 30 minutes
- Yield: 8 bites 1x
Ingredients
6 tbsp liquid egg whites (92 grams)
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 scoops vanilla vegan protein (60 grams)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp Naked Powdered Peanut Butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together egg whites, applesauce, vegan protein, and baking powder. Add half of this mixture to another bowl. Add the cocoa powder to one bowl and stir to combine. Add the peanut powder to the other bowl and stir to combine.
Place 8 aluminum muffin tins into a muffin pan. Evenly divide chocolate mixture into the muffin tins. Once the batter is evenly spread and settled, evenly divide peanut mixture on top of the chocolate layer. Lightly spread using your finger or the back of a spoon so it settles.
Bake for 20-25 minutes (or until the tops are firm to the touch) and let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in the fridge for up to a week!
A layer of chocolate goodness. A layer of peanut butter. All wrapped up in a bite-sized delight? It doesn’t get any better!
You will love these layered brownie bites. And be sure to check out Naked’s website to grab some of their Peanut Powder for yourself!
