Hi friends! Everyone’s WIAW posts looked especially delicious yesterday…thought I would just throw that out there!
Well today is the big day folks….GRADUATION DAY. It feels like it came so quick. I remember being in middle school and thinking that the seniors looked so old and that I would never ever get there…but now I am here and it feels like no time passed at all. Weird how that happens!
My sister got into town late last night and I can’t wait to have these next few days to spend with her! On the agenda for today is a graduation rehearsal, then home for the afternoon (hoping to squeeze and a gym sesh in since I’ve taken a few days off but we shall see…), then back to the location for graduation for more rehearsal, and then the big show at 7! Should be a great day and I will be sure to recap it in full tomorrow.
Today I just have a some fun pics to share from the fun little event that takes place right near my house every year.
But before I get to that I wanted to address that change you may have notices in my tabs bar at the top of the blog… What used to be called 101 in 1001 I have changed to my Bucket List. The original idea behind 101 in 1001 was to try to complete a list of 101 goals in 1001 days from when you first posted your list. Its great concept in theory and can definitely help someone get motivated to do things. But for me I decided that I didn’t want a specific time frame to complete my goals, hopes, and dreams. I have my whole life to live and I don’t want to feel pressured to accomplish things in a certain amount of time. So now that list will just be an active page where I will continually add things that I hope to do someday! (here’s the original post incase you’re interested)
Now for those fun pics!
Yesterday was the fifth annual .5k (yes POINT 5k) Stiletto Run for the Ovarian Cancer Society (check out last year’s coverage here!). Participants are required to wear a minimum of 3 inch heels and sprint as fast as they can to the finish line! It is so hilarious to watch…especially the male participants
[the winner coming down the shoot…it was a girl this year!!]
Needless to say it was a lot of fun to watch!
Well, off to prepare for the big day ahead! Congratulations to all my fellow grads out there…WE DID IT (well, almost for me).
