Hawaiian Tuna Burgers

  • 2 cans of Bumble BeeĀ® Solid White Albacore Tuna
  • 1 tbsp Bragg’s liquid aminos (or soy sauce)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1 8oz can of crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1/2 cup loosely packed chopped cilantro
  • 4 tbsp almond meal/almond flour
  • 1 egg (or 2 egg whites)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tbsp lime juice
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400. Mix all ingredients in a bowl (use your hands to make sure everything is evenly distributed). Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape into patties. Squeeze out excess liquid as you form the patties with your hands. Place the patties on a parchment paper lined baking sheet or dish. Bake for 25 minutes, flip bake for 10 more minutes.
