A roundup of homemade, DIY gifts that your friends and family will love to receive for the holidays this year!
As I get older, the holidays become more and more about catching up with my family, making memories, and celebrating the year rather than getting presents. Of course, when you’re little and still believe in Santa Claus, it’s absolutely magical to come downstairs in the morning to a Christmas tree surrounded by brightly wrapped presents.
But to be honest, nowadays, I like GIVING gifts much more than I like receiving them. A lot of my family members happen to feel the same, so when I ask them what they want (or need) they often don’t know how to answer! This can make Christmas shopping a little tricky. But that’s where homemade DIY gifts come in!
There’s nothing I love more than a homemade gift from a loved one. The gift itself is amazing, but what makes it even more special is that they took the time and effort to make something from scratch that they thought I’d enjoy. And let’s face it, in the era of Pinterest, people are getting pretty good at DIY crafts and creations.
I almost exclusively do homemade gifts for my extended family now (since all them always say they “don’t need anything”), so I always have fun each year coming up with new ideas on what to make for them!

What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?

Homemade gifts are the best! Thanks for putting together such an awesome list! I’ve been meaning to try making my own cleaning products + reusable bags! I’ve also been planning on putting together a “get well soon” care package so ‘soup in a jar’ mixes would be a great addition! :]! Can’t wait to try these out!
