Healthy, high protein dessert dip that tastes like your favorite pie! This 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Pie Dip is vegan, gluten-free, naturally sweetened, and so decadent tasting. Feel good about indulging with your favorite dippers for a healthy snack or sweet treat.
I am dubbing this week, PEANUT BUTTER HEAVEN Week on the blog.
We started the week recreating a classic chocolate peanut butter cereal staple….aka Healthy Copycat Reese’s Puffs. You all went wild for those! But who wouldn’t the best flavor combo in cereal form!? YES PLEASE. You bet I’ve been making those non-stop lately.
Today we’re transitioning to another peanut butter-filled recipe that I actually made on accident. That’s right! Didn’t mean to make this delectable dessert dip at all. It came about as I was making a different recipe that I plan on sharing closer to the holidays. Sorry to be a tease! But at least you’re getting PART of that recipe today. 😉
Anyways, back to the peanut butter goodness. Has anyone ever had peanut butter pie? Well, if you know me, you know it’s my ALL TIME FAVORITE dessert. My grandma makes it whenever we eat at her house and I’ve even requested it instead of birthday cake some years.
The cold, creamy peanut butter filling paired with a crunchy, chocolate cookie crust and ALWAYS garnished with chocolate sauce and extra peanuts…it’s dessert heaven!
In an attempt to make a healthy version of my favorite dessert for the holiday season coming up, I made 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Pie Dip!
That’s right, 3 ingredients is all you need to peanut butter perfection. This recipe also happens to be vegan, gluten-free, naturally sweetened, and high in plant-based protein!
3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Pie Dip [vegan + gluten-free]
- Prep Time: 5 mins
- Total Time: 5 mins
- Yield: 2.5 cups 1x
- Category: Sweet Snacks
Ingredients
- 12 ounces soft tofu
- 1 cup natural peanut butter (creamy)
- 3/4 cup date sugar
- peanuts and chocolate sauce for topping, optional
Instructions
- Combine the tofu, peanut butter, date sugar, soy milk and vanilla in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Transfer for a serving bowl. Drizzle on chocolate sauce and sprinkle on peanuts if desired.
Whether you make it for your kids as an afternoon snack, use it as a craving crusher at night, or prepare it as a fun appetizer for your next tailgating party, you will FALL IN LOVE with this amazing treat.
It’s so perfectly dippable and dunkable, too. Now, I’ll admit, I’ve been spooning it right out of the container, but if you’re looking for some pairing ideas, here’s what I’ve tried:
pretzels
apple slices
pita chips
graham crackers
Oreo’s (no shame in that one!)
apple chips
It even works as a spread on sandwiches or a topping for oatmeal if you’re looking to up the protein content in a place where you’d normally use regular peanut butter!
I think I’ve done enough chatting at this point though. If you’re not convinced to make this, I can only assume you have a peanut allergy or are straight CRAZY. 😉
I know I can’t resist this delicious dip…and I don’t think you’ll be able to either.
What are you waiting for?! Get to making, friends!
What’s your all-time favorite dessert?
Have you ever made a new recipe while attempting to make something else?
What would you dunk in this dip?

nice post dear, yummy peanut butter……….
Thanks so much, lovely!
This is tasty! I use a similar tofu/peanut butter mixture in my dairy free dessert cups. When I make them the filling rarely makes it into the dessert cups.
Thanks Patrick! This dip is SO good.
That looks so simple and perfect….and anything peanut butter is a YES in my book!
Thanks so much Jamie! Let me know if you try this!
What a yummy dip! Hope you have a great weekend and thanks so much for sharing your post with us at Full Plate Thursday!
