In a world where nut allergies are on the rise (in children AND adults), it can be hard to find delicious, homemade snack options that don’t include nuts, especially regarding the ever-so-popular bites and balls.
Usually based from dried fruit and nuts, these bites of delight are an accident waiting to happen for anyone who’s allergic. So whether you or your kids have allergies (or if they even go to a nut-free school!), finding easy, packable, healthy snacks can be an endless, usually futile, search.
Nut-Free Options DO Exist!
That’s where I come in! Being a nut lover myself, I often make recipes that include them. However, I also have quite a handful of high protein, vegan, gluten-free, tasty ones that don’t include any nuts (and in some cases no seeds either!).
